  • Do I need prior Pilates experience?
Not at all! We welcome all levels, and our instructors provide variations to suit your ability. Even if you have some experience, we recommend starting with the Fundamentals class to get a feel for how we do things. From here, you can chat with your instructor about other levels and when it would be suitable to join them.
  • Is there parking available?
Yes! There’s ample free parking directly in front of our studio. Depending on how busy our neighbouring shops and restaurants are in the evening, this car park may be busy or full. There’s an additional car park on the beach side of the road, and curb-side is also an option on the surrounding streets.
  • Can I bring my child or baby to class?
While we don’t currently offer specific classes for children or babies, we do have space for your little ones to hang whilst you train if need be. We like to keep in mind the comfort of everyone in the studio, so we ask that children are able to be settled and quietly playing for the full 45 minutes. They are not permitted to roam around the studio on their own or play with any equipment and, whilst we do our part to care for them, their safety and wellbeing are ultimately the responsibility of the parent.
  • Where is the studio located?
We’re located at 102 Esplanade, Aldinga Beach – right in the heart of the coastal community. You’ll find us right next door to Snapper Point Brewing and in the same complex as Jimmie’s and Sicily Mare. Just look for our bright, yellow door!
  • Do I need to book in advance?
Yes – our classes are popular and spots are limited, so it’s best to book ahead via our website or app. If available, bookings can be made online up until 15 minutes before class starts.
  • What should I wear?
Comfortable activewear you can move freely in and grip socks for class. Wear a jumper to/from class in the cooler weather to keep your body warm.
  • What makes your studio different?
Neighbourly is more than a studio – it’s a community. We offer connection, coastal energy, curated classes, and a whole vibe you won’t find anywhere else. Although we love Pilates and the benefits it brings, we also like to have fun, not take ourselves too seriously, and create a space that is truly welcoming and inclusive to all ages, body shapes, and abilities. Each class can be modified to suit the individual and we aim to ensure everyone is thriving and feeling like they’re right where they need to be.
  • Can I do a trial class before committing?
Absolutely! We offer an Intro Pass to new clients for only $50 so you can try us out and feel the vibe. This includes 5 class passes over a two week period. It’s a great opportunity to try 2 classes in one week and 3 classes in the other and get a feel for how you can work Pilates into your schedule before then deciding between a membership or class pack.
  • What should I bring to class?
Just bring a water bottle, sweat mat or towel, and grippy socks (we sell these at the studio too!).
  • What membership options do you offer?
We offer a variety of membership tiers to suit your schedule, with options to train 2, 3, 5 or unlimited times per week. Whilst all of our prices are very affordable within the industry, our memberships are the most economical way to train. With a 12 week minimum commitment, you’re rewarded with the lowest price per class option. Up to 2 classes per week: $35 Up to 3 classes per week: $45 Up to 5 classes per week: $55 Unlimited per week: $65
  • What are the class pack options?
We offer 8, 12 and 16-class packs for use within a one month period at discounted rates. The month commences on the date of the first booking. The prices are as follows: 8 in a month: $150 12 in a month: $210 16 in a month: $250 For those that need a little extra time to use their classes, we offer a 10 class pass with a two month validity period.
  • Can I pause or cancel my membership?
Yes, memberships can be paused for travel, injury, or life stuff. Just give us a heads-up in writing with a minimum 7 days notice to pause and a minimum 30 days notice to cancel. All pause and cancel requests need to be emailed to hello@neighbourlyco.com.au. The notice period commences the date of your email and not the date of a reply from us (because ‘life stuff’ sometimes gets in the way on our side of the line, too!).
  • Can I do extra classes if I want to?
Yes! If you’ve already used your membership credits and want to train within the same week, you can simply start the class booking process and purchase an ‘Extra Class Pass’ for only $10. This option only appears to existing members and is the equivalent price to upgrading your membership tier.
  • Do unused classes roll over?
Our memberships are ongoing weekly payments – unused classes do not roll over, but, with notice, you can pause if needed. You can attend ‘up to’ the amount of classes included in your membership tier. If you find that you can’t consistently attend as often as your membership includes, you may like to consider a class pack instead.
  • Are there any hidden fees?
Nope, not from us! Transparent pricing always. No joining fees or sneaky charges. However, it’s important to know that the banking and finance system will charge a direct debit dishonour fee of $4.40 if funds aren’t able to be settled on the nominated day each week (which is the same day as your commencement). This is not a fee system set up by Neighbourly, nor does that charge come back to Neighbourly. Often this debit will happen between midnight and early AM on the date of the charge, so if this is also the same day of the week you get paid and fund haven’t cleared by that time, it may be worth sending an email to hello@neighbourlyco.com.au and asking for the day of charge to be changed.
  • Can I attend casually without a membership?
Absolutely. Casual classes are $25, or you can purchase a one or two month pack, which will bring the per-class price down.
  • Do you offer private sessions?
Yes – 1:1 or small group privates can be arranged. These sessions are not included in the membership or class pack system and attract their own separate fee. Enquire via email or DM.
  • Do you offer men's sessions or sessions for older people?
All our classes are inclusive and open to everyBODY... age, gender, body shape. All welcome. We will work with you to support your specific goals and circumstances.
  • Can I book multiple classes in a day?
Yes, if you have the energy, we have the space! We offer classes from 6 am right through until 7 pm, so there's plenty of scope to train before, during and after the sun. We recommend a maximum of 2 classes in a row.
  • Are pre/post natal classes available?
We’re planning to offer these very soon – keep an eye on the schedule or email us to register your interest.
  • Which class is best for beginners?
Fundamentals is the place to start! Here, you’ll learn all your foundation moves and techniques and start to build those stabiliser muscles, preparing you for more advanced moves and classes.
  • How do I join the waitlist?
If a class is full, tap 'Join Waitlist' when booking. You’ll be notified by sms if a spot opens.

  • Is there a monetary cancellation fee?
No – late cancels or no-shows don’t attract a monetary fee but they do result in a lost class credit.
  • What happens if I miss a class?
Late cancels or no-shows result in a lost class credit. We get it, though! Life happens. So don't sweat it. However, we do often have people on a waitlist, so even if it’s let notice, we appreciate you officially cancelling so that we can offer your spot to someone else.
  • What if I have an injury?
Let your instructor know before class so we can offer safe modifications.
  • How far in advance can I book?
